 Everest trekking is most popular trekking destination in Nepal. Everest trekking  areas is situated in estern part of Nepal and protected by the Sagarmathga National Park, established in 1976 with area of 1148 square kilometers. Everest region is known as the Khumbu and it is the home for three highest peaks in the world: Mt Everest 8848m, Mt Lhotse 8414m, and Mt Cho Oyu 8188m. Everest is also known as Sagarmatha in Nepali and Chomolungma(the goddess mother of the world) in Sherpa Language.

From Kalapathar we can see the Closed view of Mt. Everest and other mountain such as Mt. Lhotse, Mt.Nuptse, Mt.Amadablam, Mt.Pumori,Mt. Thamserku, Mt. Khangtega, Mt. Kwangde etc.
